Cafe Sarralde is the product of three generations of the Sarralde Delgado family, who have kept and conserved our ancestral farm with a focus on the protection of biodiversity in the district of La Caldera, which is part of the Municipality of Pasto, Department of Nariño in Colombia.

The Sarralde Delgado family comes originally from the municipality of Pasto in south-western Colombia. Our family was initially dedicated to wood work and parquet through its wood factory, and also to construction and real state. However, since a few years ago, the family entered the world of specialty coffee with the brand “Café Sarralde”, which is a representative of our ancestral efforts to promote a Buen Vivir. Most importantly, our goal is to support better human-nature relations amongst the farmers of south-western Colombia. The promotion of genetic biodiversity, and establishment of natural reserves within the coffee farms is our signature requirement, and a sign of harmonic human-nature relations. Consequently, our coffee is grown in a farm that is currently in agroecological transition that is committed with the promotion of agrobiodiversity.
